Steve Herman has been an active amateur (ham) radio operator for several decades and holds the call signs W7VOA in the United States, 7J1AIL in Japan, A52SW in Bhutan, VU3USJ in India, T88SH in Palau and 9N7VOA in Nepal.

Steve helped introduce the Internet Radio Linking Project in Asia when Node 8200 became QRV and was President of the Tokyo International Amateur Radio Association 2003-2006.

Steve is now mostly QRV in New Delhi, India but also conducts mini-DX’peditions to surrounding countries.
